I recorded my son doing some silly quotes and voices. He thought he was just quoting Batman and saying things in a Japanese accent.

I ended up with about 10 phrases, so I took those and edited it into a silly scenario. I hope you think it's funny too :-)

How I created it:
The recording was done on my mobile phone.
Everything else was done using open source software on Linux Mint 17.1.

Initial audio edited using Blender (https://www.blender.org), then Audacity (http://www.audacityteam.org).
The character graphics were drawn in Krita (https://krita.org).
The animation was done in Synfig (http://www.synfig.org/cms), including the background graphics.
Synfig doesn't render audio yet (although you can include it in your project for timing,sync, etc.), so the final video was put together in OpenShot (http://openshot.org).

After all that, I decided that I'd better create an intro for it and put some credits on the end. They were done in Blender and I used some of the graphical assets from the animation.
