I getcha, it was more of a political jab than a joke. It worked as a good reference for those familiar with the Green Lantern's universe, but otherwise I think it would not have been clear.
Also, I could barely make out what the ring said, so that hampered my experience. Still good though!
I was expecting like a Mexican ring or something. But meh.
It's a good animation, but I expected it to be a bit longer. There was a huge opportunity for comedy here, but I feel like it didn't live up to what it could have been.
It was one of those little jokes I just wanted to get out. If the reception was bigger I might make more or make some for the other candidates.
So that's his secret. :) The bell for the final round's abouta ring! Nice one.
