This game is AWESOME! The gameplay is fun and quirky and the movie clips that play in the background when getting a star add to charm. You rock and kudos to you!
P.S. For those of wondering where the minigame is for the Minigame medal, it's at the very start of the game where the "New Game" and "Load Game" options are. You play it by moving the square with your arrow keys so that the ball inside it goes through the hole instead of crashing into the square. Hopefully this helps players who have trouble finding the minigame and want to get the medal.
Fun game. I love the little movie clips!
Nice little avoid game, it kept me entertained for a while, couldn't find any bugs and all the medals work.
I liked the movie scenes in the background, I didn't find them distracting though, furthermore you had the choice to let them appear or not by collecting the star.
Which made me think, was that supposed to be a negative power up or a positive one? I don't get it, the points for it don't matter anyway because they're so easy to get, which brings me to my next point.
It was a bit too easy for me, I had almost everything unlocked after the 2nd attempt, reason for that was the standard perk which made the score go insanely high, that way I've earned like 20k on the first try, it's kind of overpowered and should be an unlockable perk imo.
Also why are the perks and characters all the same prize? There should be kind of prize ladder because some perks are more valuable than the others, if I got the little green slime dude with a +life perk I was basically a triple A character and with the keys and everything it was almost impossible to lose, altogether for 6200 coins which isn't much.
The bombs are so useful, I don't know if it was intended but you can push them over the screen edge so they appear on the opposite side again, very useful for these unhappy green blocks, if they didn't randomly got blown up by a bomb before.
What I'm saying is there wasn't really a appeal to go for more, you had everything unlocked and yeah, chasing for the highscore is unecessary because there isn't a highscore list anyway.
All in all 3/5.
I assume the keys have something to do with the minigame, but whenever I go through the door it just takes me straight to the Interval screen.
A pretty creative and fun arcade game, with each upgrade a unique twist to the game play experience. Only thing I'm really missing here is highscores hmm, and that MINIGAME COMPLETE! medal *hint?*. Movie references were an unexpected but entertaining addition too, and each obstacle a wise piece of strategy. Good game!
