You've got the animation down in technique, and the voice-acting is fairly easily picked up. Everything synch's up pretty well, so no problems there. The only real complaint would be content. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there a little bit and show some real idealism. Sure, you'll end up with haters, but you only glance through the "crap" for a little while as a digital artist. If you never SAY SOMETHING, you never engage the audience.
To put it as simply as I can, from back in the days I was in an art class... My art teacher explained it to me like this, "If you can invoke a deep emotional response from your audience you've done you're job."
I asked him, "What if they all hate it?"
He smiled and shrugged, "At least you got the emotional response, so you did your job. That's what makes you an artist... or not."
I'll give you marks for starting out, and don't take it the wrong way. Your work seems a little too excited to actually "say something". It doesn't matter if I like your definition of 'happiness' or not. Say it... define it...
Maybe, happiness is everything you can expect of your friends, but never have to... and maybe, it's just making your way in the world... or just saying "F--- it"...
