Black & White Test Animation

Share Collapse

This is a short animation test for an upcoming full production. We have yet to come up with a name for this short film since it is still in the preproduction phases. We have a mix of both 2d and 3d animators working on this RAS Original. This will be a black and white film similar to Disney's Paperman when it is finished. We would appreciate the feedback on the movement and 2d/3d integration. Thank you for your support.

Good test there dude. You might try a different audio to sync up to the video. Like a footstep sound from say Counter Strike or Resident Evil to see if you can get steps visual to match steps in audio. Just a thought..hey take the advice with a grain of salt. Else wise this works pretty well.

amazing!!!!

It isn't a good idea to submit tests under judgement. Tests, walk cycles, etc usually gets a really low score if not blamed. If you want to put tests on here, there is something called the "Dumping Grounds". It's the button next to your message button where anyone can post tests at. And with it, you can show off anything to your friends, family, and random users on here. So please do that instead.

Sorry about that. Thanks for the advice.

It moves very fluidly and i like the idea of having this sort of 3D animation in black and white as a full length animation. The character also doesn't move like a robot which is a huge plus!
Maybe a bit pointless at the moment but some shading here and there to reflect light and shadow could be neat, then again this isn't finished yet.
Good job, unfortunately i don't feel like i give a higher rating since this is just a test at the moment.

Thank you Radaketor. Your review has been very helpful.

I cant wait till the actual animation come.

Thank you KomplButut. We will be releasing more samples as production progresses.
