RealFaction: In 2012, I teamed up with DeathInk, Schulles, and Saminat to make a fan tribute game of "The Thing (1982)" film. We all love the film, I wrote music for it as well as wrote some of the ideas with Sam. It was going to expand the storyline slightly beyond the movie. Sadly, in 2013, it halted.

We thought it would be cool to show what we did get done in this trailer, though sadly we couldn't recover everything we finished. It's a shame it didn't get finished. Deathink did great on the art, Schulles did great programming, Sam had great ideas, and I had fun doing the soundtrack.

I also released the FREE soundtrack (7 songs) I made for the game on NG and it has a playlist:

Also you can download the album on bandcamp:

Someday I would like to get a game done, lately there's been way too many cancellations. I sometimes wish my projects I've been involved with or started would be finished. It's a bummer. This is to all The Thing fans and NG fans out there.

Happy Pixel Day!

Looks like the selection of art's a bit limited? The trailer makes the most out of the little there is though; with great help of the music too. And it was based on the original! :D Hope this sees the light of day someday! And the unrevealed script unravels. Happy Pixel Day!

RealFaction responds:

Yeah sadly, we had the inside done too but it got lost after all these years :( sadly. Oh well though. Thanks! Happy PD to you too.

Dammit we were so close to get another gem like The Room Game.

RealFaction responds:

That was actually part of where the idea came from, ironically. Yeah, stinks. DeathInk did some good art for this.

the game looks kool, is it even out or is it just lost in space?

Watch the video again, you will know the answer, or read the description.
