-------------------WARNING-----------------------
This is NOT really a GAME.
This is an INTERACTIVE STORY in the form of a (sliglhtly) animated comic.
---------------------------------------------------------

Zombie Society - Death after Death #1/3
story and programming by Francesco Dell'Anna Muja
art and colors by Giorga Longo
music by Antonio Mariano

----------------SUMMARY-------------------------
Zombies have conquered the planet, and living humans are now reared on farms.
But a mystery has erupted in the seemingly peaceful Zombie Society, and it's up to Detective Margh and his sidekick Ghvnn to figure it out.

Read along, find clues, ask the right questions and help Margh make choices that will alter the plot in this and future episodes, and perhaps find out that this mystery goes deeper than you thought.

---------------AUTHOR'S NOTES---------------

Hello, guys. Some of you might have already read an earlier version of this comic that I published here on NG the last year or so.

Then the project came to a halt, because some of you users gave me a lot of very clever suggestions and ideas to make it better.. so clever that I decided to implement them, and that they justified a "reboot" of the series.

So here is the first issue (out of three) of "Zombie Society - Death after death".
I hope you'll have fun.

Second issue will be online next month (and it will remember your choices... so choose well!)

Love this interactive story. Art is phenomenal, story is terrific, and overall functionality is amazing. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to save my progress thus far... not sure if anyone else has had this problem. I've been on the "SAVING..." screen for almost an hour. :/ I don't mind, I'm just confused is all.

That's great, like all the ZS games: Funny, but still challenging.
Very funny, but it's difficult to find every clue because you may click the wrong right answer.
By the way, how can I get the fifth medal? I think it's the investigations being a complete disaster, but the commissioner keeps being satisfied.

Muja responds:

Thank you for your nice review!
But it's been a long time, I really don't remember how to get all the medals.. :(

Another Spetacular game, I love this games, congrats dude!

Muja responds:

Thank you a lot, dude!

I have played all 3 parts of this game and I liked it very much. Excellent and unique world building. Deep story with both humorous and dark red pill undertones. Great and interesting characters. Good art an character expressions. All the choices were meaningful and sound. Also I like the many medals to unlock.

Only reason the score is not perfect 5 stars is because of minor technicalities like lack of full screen and an animated cursor. These little technical things do give or take from the overall experience.

The story of the first part looks like just a detective story, but the unique zombie world is a nice unique setting and I liked the foreshadowing of the future events by hinting that the police commissioner is up to something.

Muja responds:

Thank you!
Since you've reviewed every episode, I'll give my longest answer for the third one ;)

This is a wonderfully well written story, and I thank you for making it. You've thought this out and it's enjoyable. I love your art style as well, it's very comic book like. If you don't mind my asking, as I am aware this is an older game of yours, would you happen to still remember how you get useless help? As I would like to get it, I'd love to see the dialogue behind getting it. Thank you very much.

Muja responds:

Thank you for your nice review, I'm glad you're enjoying the story!
As for that medal.. You're right, I don't remember the details, but I'm pretty sure you have to do everything "wrong" to unlock it.
