Not bad, it need some improvements, a background, upgrades on the ship when u take some items. Other point is that is very hard to hit the enemy ships because they shoot to fast that you can not put in front of them to destroy it. I would like to see the progress of this game. ;)

This is the alpha version of our first game called X-Cav: 8R. This is a hybrid game which will have vertical & horizontal space shooter mechanics and stealth exploration wrapped around RPG-like advancement.
This version features some vertical shooter mechanics.
Arrow keys to move
A to use bombs
S to shoot
D to toggle ship's drill

Please note that we are in the process of replacing assets that are obviously not our own as the were used as placeholders.
Keep working on it. It's already at a nice start.
Things i'd love to see:
1) weapon upgrades/and more weapons overall
2) ship health, and perhaps regenerative shield
3) upgrade pitstops in between "waves" (some kind of upgrades shop), and perhaps some king of resources to gather and use them in it
4) use your imagination, make a unique game that is unlike many other, at this point it's very much possible.
Keep at it, i have faith in you ;)
This is an awesome game maybe add a little points or score system but other than that it's a super fun game
