In my opinion, this teacher is telling everyone what art really is, and how you should go about creating your art. This teacher is telling you what your plan should be.
Summary:
1. Get a sketchbook - This rule is kind of what you need for rule 2.
2. Draw. Every. Day. - This is important for improvement and just being an artist. You need to draw every day or else you could be terribly afflicted by not drawing every day.
No idea is bad, except the bad ones.

So... buy a drawing book to keep on you, but what about a pen or pencil? Should we draw with our blood then?

That guy really is commuted! Really. Beard and all. Seems like a reminiscent lesson, no doubt retold - at least in part, in future segments... or circled back to, but in it's completeness and conclusiveness like this... it strands strong! Like a real speech. Like wisdom. Like the start of something awesome. That's what practice really makes. Great word.
