rAge of Mythology II

I'm glad to be done with this animation. It's taken a number of months. I think it's some of my best animation. Now it's time to move to the next project which I'm sure you NGers are going to enjoy.
But until then, here. rAge of Mythology II.

WooleyWorld responds:

This is an oldie. Haha. But thank you.

Wow

Wow this was pretty intense the only thing that really bothered me on this was that it was way too short the animation itself was really good and an intense idea and seemed to get better with each new frame. And you won four rewards that's the most I seen for any flick so that alone is it's own achievement. But anyways really nice work and you should really think about making this longer. Anyways great stuff and once again congrats on all the awards

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Could be longer but that's really about it

~X~

WooleyWorld responds:

My latest animation is 10 minutes long. It took like 7 months to make. I'm good. Imma keep them like 5 minutes. Hahaha. That way they take 2 or 3 months.

So i loved the animation and most of the voice acting. Just need to tone the voices a little bit down or that might be my headphones, the guy with the abacus sounded kinda close to the mic. Just that everything else was perfect. Keep up the good work!

WooleyWorld responds:

I appreciate your feedback, D-slice.

This hit me in the nostalgia--back when I first played AoM...was a ways back in my childhood. Lacking the metaknowledge very common in strategy games, this mirrors *perfectly* my confusion with units...scaling, and technicalities on game mechanics.

You've also managed to bring the horrors of a Kraken to an all new level. >_> <.< (I *really* disliked those 'one'-shot losses .-. Though the panic/death animation made up for them. . .still feel bitter about it since every unit was special or 'unique'...or sentimental. >_> Oh look now I'm reminiscing. That's the emotional impact of your art in play!)

I like how you worked with the animation, cleverly disguising loops at times with the mixed background (the shading and artwork are also very smooth and fluid!). Voice acting and other characteristics put in that mix...makes this pretty divine for that long of an animation. ;)
Especially knowing how hard it is to animate. :/ You deserve the support you receive by a ton.

Though a tiny bit that can be improved, for posterity in all future animation, are those *TINY* lines in the facial expressions that make the face/expression seem a bit skewed (as they're usually the central/focal point of viewers, before moving onto the rest of the art in a clip or frame). It doesn't affect the quality here, in general, but just wanted to point that out.

WooleyWorld responds:

What tiny lines?

But yes thank you. I appreciate the review. I figured some other gamers would dig it.
You put a lot more thought into it. Haha.

That was so funny! though the voice acting needs to be more convincing at some parts. Good animation!

WooleyWorld responds:

.. like what parts.
