I like it, a nice little short with good added details like the houses behind The orange Batman guy. I always like to see odd touches like that on amateur animations, it makes me wonder what proportion of the time you spent drawing backgrounds.

The story is good, the tree falling at the end adds, though I can't get passed the fact that it loops. If I were you I would have either made the loop have a credits page that stays for 4 - 5 seconds or with a simple bit of auto-script you can get the flash to stop at the end and add a reply button for example. This would be the next logical step in your improvement. On another note the explosion just didn't work for you visually but practice makes perfect.

I liked that you used sound effects for stuff like raising eyebrows. Keep doing that. I think you need to work on the animation at the end, where the tree falls. You should build to it, take your time to draw detail in the tree movement. Also, add a preloader and a play button.
