Here's my interpretation of Bomberman's Origins, as explained in the original NES Bomberman instruction manual!
Nice! I love the style of the pixel art, and the animations all looked fantastic as well.
Music worked incredibly well, as did the voice acting.
The premise was good, but the ending rather lame. Animation style was not bad either, but the narration also felt flat in the end. Simply put: dull ending.
If you want this to be more like a game/movie trailer, there should be some larger mystery or dillema in the mix. How exciting is rising a staircase towards the exit? Meh. The Pinnochio-metaphora doens't quite work without clever preferences and intertextual connections etc. This story has potential if you dig deeper and plant more new ideas and twists to the existing world of B-man.
