I noticed I'm missing one of the achievement types - so judging by the statistics, the only one left was number of deaths (0). It was impossible for me to die at all because of the auto-revive mechanic when you have a potions (it's why i got like 50 of them).
So I decide to start a new character and die as much as possible from the get go, so I get it out of the way.
Guess what? It's almost impossible to die.
Even if you put all your stats in luck (or nowhere at all), never equip an item and abstain from leveling up your skills - you can't die. There's some weird catch-up mechanic so you can't get too far ahead or behind.
This is combination with the overall lack of meaningful gameplay (similar to idle games) is a major turn off. Sure I get how progress is addicting, but basing an alleged game only on that factor is revolting.
Fun, but as has been said before: there quickly seems to be no point to continue playing. There's no sense of improvement. If the hero had to kill (X+level) monsters before a shop appeared OR new items were ONLY available for purchase so you had to choose carefully, OR items only appeared once every 10 battles and had different unique benefits, OR you collected XP and then you ascend and start at a higher Level, OR there was some strategy involved in upgrading your hero, OR anything that makes the grind seem meaningful... there would be a point to continue.
There are too many items and you find them far too easily and they all look the same, so eventually I just waited for a 'Shop' then moused-over the items and sold any that appeared in red, equipping any that appeared in green without even reading anything.
It was also odd that the hero heals at a constant speed, rather than say 10% after each battle, so if 'AutoStart' is on the hero slowly dies. However, you can just turn off the 'AutoStart' and fully heal and recharge all your specials, making any battle (including bosses) a massacre in your favor.
A note: Buy every single red potion you ever see since they are powerful and cheap but extremely limited.
This isn't bad, but it isn't anything very special, either. I quite like and appreciate the art style and overall board game-iness of it all, but it is painfully simplistic and really kind of bland once you get past that. Again, this doesn't even come close to being a BAD game; it's just not very interesting.

It was fun for a while, I have to give you that. And I like the idea behind it too. There were a few things that really irked me, however.
HumanityNetwork covered some of them well, so I won't elaborate too much, except to ask: what does strength do? What does stamina do besides regen health more quickly? And with 115 points into luck, what did that do for me?
I didn't really know how to build my character, which is a huge flaw. It didn't bother me too much until enemies started to really get stronger, at which point I didn't know how best to counter that fact.
I also got vaguely frustrated with having to spend 40k to upgrade gold gained, even though that 40k got me just 1 extra piece of gold per gold piece, however one says that.
The final straw for me was when I got frozen by an enemy boss and remained frozen. I'd move on to more enemies, but they wouldn't attack me. Glitched out, for sure. At first I was happy, because I didn't have to figure out how to build a successful character. Then I realized there was no more point to playing. It's fixed by reloading the game, but by that time I had admitted resignation.
It's not really bad, but could use a lot of polish.
