In this 2 players local game, you must beat your opponent by making him reaching his stress/boredom limit. You can play the child or the beast. It is a very interesting mechanic, it's very intense since you don't know where you or the monster are.
I think the idea is to use the noises to find each other is really cool, the only problem is that they are both listening the same audio (of course, they are in the same computer) which makes it less intense.
I did not quite understand how the soldier mechanic work either.
And the "how to play" section could have less text, since people tend to be lazy to read it all.
The lightning effect is really cool, it adds an very atmospheric tension, if i recall correctly, there is one like this in Luigi's Mansion, right?

With a little more of ambience and art it can be a cool game.
Would your inspiration be Dead Realm? It's very alike.

Thanks you for your commentary! :) Yes the local multiplayer has its disadvantages.

For the plastic soldiers : when you press the key the child stop moving and takes 2 seconds to put plastics soldiers on the ground. when the beast walk on it, it can't move for 3 seconds and get sore boredom.

I totally agree with you on the "how to play" i just tried to make this game in 48h and i ran out of time. For the art, I have just no talent in it. It takes a lot of time to make a bad result :(

I haven't play to luigi's mansion but after verification that's true and my inspiration is mostly Monsters, inc with a nasty child ^^

Nice try to make an original game but it lacks atmosphere and the interface seems too small for all that's going on.
idk what could be ameliorated, the long explication sure isn't very inviting (but at least it's got visual readability!! unlike some... ^^' ) . Maybe an interactive tutorial/intro? A very easy level, 1st starting all visible then turning the lights off... well idk, just lightly suggesting.

Yes you're right on many things. It was very hard for me to produce the graphs because i'm pretty bad at it and i was very focused on the gameplay and programming rather than that. I've made this alone in 48h so even if it's not that beautiful and the explication isn't very clear i'm pretty happy about the final product (even if it seems weirds sometimes). Maybe a friend of mine will help me on the graph and atmosphere ^^
