Through is a GameBoy-themed puzzle-platformer made for #GBJam 4. The game features a daemon that has to make it through a series of levels fractured into perpendicular dimensions.
LEFT / RIGHT - walk / enter the wall to change dimension
UP - jump
PLUS / MINUS - volume up / down
ZERO - mute sounds and music
There are only 12 levels in the current version but it should be enough for a couple of minutes of fun. A fully-fledged version is in the works.
This was a really amazing demo that had a similar style to about-face. This game was slow to start, but rapidly grew into a phenomenal puzzle-platformer. The idea of incorporating different dimensions was ingenious and add a significant element to the puzzles in each level. The only problems I had with this prototype was the repetitive background music and the fact that you had to click each time to start a new level.
Other than that, this was a very enjoyable game.

This is an excellent idea, and the retro graphics are adorable, but the jarring sound and lack of a mute button make it frustrating to play. As well as this, there is a lack of any new ideas past the wall-shifting, and the level design is quite random. Another thing that should be added to a finished version would be a more effective tutorial.
Very clever; I hope to see more levels in the future.
