My favorite anime
I'm not gonna lie, I fucking HATE Akame ga Kill, and consider it one of the worst shows I've ever seen. I'd even take parodies of the show over the show itself, and this is no exception. But even if I liked the source material, I'd still greatly enjoy this short. The animator gets the character designs down pat and every joke at least made me giggle. I don't know whether or not the people behind this like it (something tells me they don't despise it as much as I do; few people I've come across do). but as LittleKuribo and Team Four Star have taught us, potshots at its target's flaws have definite appeal to both fans and non-fans. About half of Akame ga Kill, was idiotic, unfunny "comedy", and it's telling that, again, a flash cartoon was funnier in its two minutes than the humor of real thing was in 30 seconds. I may despise Akame ga Kill, but I can still see a good parody when I see it, and this was a good parody.
