Control an angrier version of Free Willy in this open water fight for survival against fishermen, divers, sharks and other deadly enemies. They came to separate you from your calves, but you're not going down without a fight!

CONTROLS:

Arrow keys ---- SWIM
SPACEBAR --- ATTACK/SPEED BOOST

OBJECTIVE:

- Avoid speargunners and sea mines as you try to destroy wave after wave of enemy humans who seek to imprison you inside a legally safe version of Sea World.

-Eat Fish, Fishermen and other creatures to regain health

- Score big by causing general destruction and prove you're the baddest bastard in the seven seas

3 at best.
I agree with AoShun, the controls do need work. It's practically impossible to attack the boats (if it's meant to be impossible, I retract that statement), and even though I "killed" three or more men (??) my score at the top was still 25 from killing the first one. The enemy count was still at 12, as well.
However, the extra two stars that kept this from being a 1-star rating are for the Ecco the Dolphin background music. Well done on nice music choice, not so much on the game itself.

The point of the combat is you have a small window, while blurry the split second you hit spacebar to dash, to hit the boats. If you soar past the boats then you did it wrong. It would be too easy and basically automatic if you damaged boats by simply touching them. You jump at the angle you are pointing in when you touch the surface line. It's really super easy to figure out. I'm surprised nobody figured out what the 'r' key does...

Pretty janky, interesting concept with poor execution. Things are too snappy in the control department and the HUD is very shakey. Hit detection is also pretty off. Needs a bit of work but the idea is there.

TheMillz responds:

Not that it matters but I did this whole project in 2 straight days. It began as a title called 'orca escape' and actually focused on a whale breaking free of captivity by hopping from tank to tank, landing on civilians and sliding between aquarium enclosures on their blood. Unfortunately the code editor mmf2 pro does not handle things like walls and slopes very well and a 2d version of the jaws unleashed game was the only real option.

Sure its not as epic as I had originally hoped for but I don't see it as the train wreck you all paint it out to be

Controls need work.
You breach too easy when close to the surface, despite needing to be close to the surface to hit the boats -and being unable to hit them after breaching.

The screen -and pictures- were a bit shaky as well.

Also the depth-charge thing... makes no sense.. I'm sorry it just doesn't. Nets or people firing tranquilizer weapons would make sense, but depth charges? Not so much.

TheMillz responds:

U got some weak hangups there. Technically I could have used anything from exploding clowns to dirty tampons and the gameplay would be unaffected. But whatever its your opinion

Well the game is ok but it kinda dull as you play more of the game. And when you die, you will be sent to a aquarium with all the sign pointing to the right if you want to play again but it doesn't work, I even jump out of the aquarium tank but nothing happen at all. Overall, ain't much to play for.

TheMillz responds:

Well that's just wrong I tested it myself and I know that works. It takes a sec for slow computers you probably just didn't wait long enough

This game is cool, but it's kind of glitchy. But, this is a neat idea and you should keep up the good work.

TheMillz responds:

Thanks I hope it does ok
