Yes. You have tried, but keep in mind, real art is not to be rushed.
The story seemed predictable, and it would've been great if you tried to make more time for it.
Animation is averagely done(Noticable, since you stated the whole thing's rushed).

Overall, you should try to make some time up to it. Would've been great. It's not too shabby though.

I normally don't like animations without much plot & are just action, but something about this was really fun, and I can't quite put my finger what it is. It might be that the action just flows really well, and there's a lot of variety in the shots. I think your style could use a bit of polishing up, but it already has a lot of charm. Good job man

Dude, we're the only ones who posted something for our bracket! More chance we'll move on right? Haha, I don't know how I'll be able to stay in this tournament with school coming up next month. I'm secretly hoping you win for that reason :P

But anyway, I thought this was awesome! It was so ambitious, it's crazy! I think that's what made it look a little bad though. You tried to jam too much awesomeness in it that you didn't consider the time constraint. I really liked the camera shots you chose. It makes the movement really easy to follow (eg. you show the whole building falling apart and slanting after showing the guy sliding down a piece of rock. I was thinking "how is he sliding down?" And then you show how in the next shot. Stuff like that. It's good.) Good luck on moving to the next round!

hahaha this was so funny! I don't know if it was intentional but I was laughing out loud most of the time. like when he takes out a big ol leg of ham from the box hahaha. And when the rocks all somehow land on the pirate haha
