Death Note was the first anime I ever watched, so I've always wanted to make a little tribute to it. This is a little game I came up with in which you have to kill as many criminals with the famed notebook as you can.

By killing criminals, you'll earn "Darkness"- which you can use to upgrade a couple different stats to help you on your twisted journey to building a Utopia.

Mouse - click people to see their names
Keyboard - type names
Enter key - add name to page
Escape key - give your self up to the police

All the names in the game were randomly generated using an online tool. You can also add your own custom names by clicking "Custom Names" from the main menu. The list will autosave every time you add a new one.

Thanks for playing!

Good concept, maybe add pictures and stuff so you can see the face too. Add more gameplay and stuff too. Such as adding more upgrades. Being able to buy some more time with the darkness points, etc. Also, involve L more.

It's an interesting concept, but playability is really limited. It's really just "click head, type name" over and over again. Not a lot of variety.

It's a good interesting game with cool mechanics and I love the fact you can up grade your ability's.
but overall this game really just feels like a death note themed "learn to type game" omk (oh my kira) You just made a "learn to type with kira" game lol :) (plus 1 honorary star for unintentional hilarity)

Pretty interesting game, a solid way to kill some time not a lot of replay value though. Also found a bug around kill 120, (hence why I'm now number two overall on the list) once a name pops up you can retype it to clear the level without clicking the other four.
