A Sci-Fi space shooter, destroy the Space Cube before it destroys you!

The objective of the game is to destroy the Space Cube with the lasers of your space ship. But be careful, the Space Cube has shields and can fire lasers back at you.

Please note that this is a WIP game and will be continued to be developed in the future, please take this into consideration when posting comments or feedback. Constructive feedback will be appreciated, negative spamming will not. Thanks.

Evading the lasers seems pretty damn pointless, as they always hit and always do damage.
Shooting my own lasers is pretty disappointing as I can only do short clicky bursts. Rather than in a long satisfying stream. If you hold the mouse down, it does produce a stream, but despite looking cool it is incredibly ineffective. So either stop the holding down from producing a visual effect, or make it useful.
A health bar that simply shrinks without indicating by how much, is not very dramatic as it gives no sense of scale, for quite some time i didn't even notice damage being done.
The game lacks strategy, as you simply shoot the fragment that shoots most (furthest right) destroy it and move onto the next. No evasion needed, just shoot one thing then the next and the next.
Shooting has to be done in a series of rapid clicks as the laser does not replenish until completely used.
The game feels incomplete, and I can really tell that it's a work in progress. As a result of this, I will be withholding a score, due to the fact I expect much in the way of improvement from what is a well defined project.

There's no way to dodge enemy attacks, so there's no point in really being able to move the player. And there's also no point in being conservative in firing the player's own weapon because the charge doesn't come back until you completely drain the blue bar. Ultimately, the game comes down to simply exchanging fire and damage for a bit while we wait for either the enemy shields to run out or our own hull health to fall to zero.
Luckily I will give you some credit for providing just enough of that hull health and just enough weapon damage to health ratio to make the game winnable. I actually won with the tiniest sliver of health left.
I blammed this because it was way too short and for the previously stated reasons above. But certainly if you fixed a couple of things and added a few more stages, you would be well on your way to a rather quality game. Keep it up.
