Pokemon Campaign is a fan game set in the Pokemon universe that trades in the series' traditional turn-based battle system for real-time combat. Control your Pokemon directly by using WASD and the mouse to traverse new areas, catch new Pokemon, and take on bosses!

This game has been in development limbo for three years, and it makes me ecstatic to finally be able to present it to the public. It is by far the largest project that I've ever tackled. Thank you so much to everyone who supported it during its development.

P.S. If you come across any bugs while playing that may have slipped through the cracks, please don't hesitate to PM me or mention it in a review. I'll do my best to keep on top of updates. If you don't have a Newgrounds account, you can also contact me at pokemoncampaign@gmail.com

IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING LAG, I have added a quality control option in the top right corner. The graphical difference is almost unnoticeable, and it should make the game run much more smoothly. Thank you to everyone who brought this to my attention.

OMG, This is amazing!!!! I love this so much!! it reminds me of mystery dungeons a lot, but this is way better in my opinion. <3

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks! That's super high praise. I'm glad you liked it so much!

Wow! I've been looking for this game for a while!

I had played it a few years back, but couldn't remember the name...I'm so glad I found it!

What I like so much about this game is the ability to actually play AS the Pokemon, as opposed to just commanding them in an RPG style...I think that's really epic.

In particular, I love playing as Swellow in this game, since it's extremely fast, and it's fun to just zoom through the screen as Swellow...and Aerial Ace is a pretty decent damage attack that works pretty well on most things in this game (with the exception of Rock types), so that's a win for me.

I also like all the little Pokemon sprites and animations, and your choice of music in this game. It's all hype!

The only thing I'm sad about is how short this game is.

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks so much! I started working on this game in high school, so it's always nice to see it make people happy all these years later.

Also, if you're interested in the music, all of the tracks are listed on the left of the game's page and they'll take you to their Audio Portal submissions. There's a ton of talent in there!

lavender town aaaaaaaaa

OrangePylon responds:

Watch out for that hand on your shoulder.

It's pretty fun! I don't have the most optimal computer, but it still seems to work pretty well. I was a little confused at first when it came to how to talk to people, but after I managed to talk to Professor Juniper (via mindless keyboard slamming), I laughed pretty hard at her reply.

OrangePylon responds:

Glad that line was appreciated! Thanks a lot.

This reminds me a lot of Mystery dungeon. Thank you so much for making me think back of it! I would buy it right away again! :D

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks! Don't sue me, Nintendo -- here's proof that I'm making you guys money!
