If you quote AstEroids you have to do it properly, the ship is undrivable...

Shoot asteroids with a space ship. Based on the old Atari game from 1979 Asteroids. In this game you don't die on first impact. There is a Health level, and you lose health depending on how long your impact was.
Update: Steering has been adjusted to be more like the original. The Inertia on turning has been removed. And the inertia on accelerate and decelerate has been reduced. Making the ship more agile.
This is the second game in a tutorial series for game programming for kids. Enjoy!

Typo has been corrected and the steering has been changed :)
Very challenging. I feel like the left and right turns aren't as quick as they should be, but it's a really solid Asteroid clone otherwise!

Hi, thanks for your review. Would it be better to remove the inertia on turning, and just let the ship turn while you press the right and left key?
I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort into this game, but it doesn't work, I cannot play the game properly if it will not load.

Hi. Is it stuck on loading? It is a flash game, and I tested it using several browsers. I didn't have Internet Explorer available so I haven't tested that one.
