Where is the End of Space?

UPDATE (6/10/15): Made Backspace the starting button, and players can press Shift to restart. I did this because of glitches where pressing buttons caused no response from the game.
If you still experience this glitch, please PM me. For those of you where pressing Backspace starts the game, please ***wait 10 seconds, and the game will start.*** Thank you.
Also, I have gotten many comments on the wonky controls. May I remind you that the theme is Deception, and the steering mechanism provided my Hauteur is 100% accurate! Promise!

The title is a question. Is there an answer?
Made for the Construct 2 Deception Jam. Take control of the Corporal as you search for the end of space for Hauteur, Inc, in a galaxy of 21 planet types! All your equipment is of working order and this one-of-a-kind mission is completely safe. We promise!

All art, music, voice-acting, & programming was done by me, Norbez-- except the space background, which was created by Haze (@TheStorysinger), but modified for this game, and used with permission. Some voice clips were modified as well. If you want to know more about the Isaiah 5 passage, I made a video a few years ago about the beginning of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVEAyJZuT7o
Thank you for playing. I look forward to your thoughts.

I have a bug: pressed backspace, hit z for awhile, green text saying end is near stays up no matter the button pressed.

it just start in a green text and stays there :P but actually i played the game before. It remembers me a game in "indie game the movie", i can't actually remember the name, but is in fact the search in that weird space with a lot of messages.

Norbez responds:

Did pressing Backspace not start the game? And when you say it reminds you of a game in Indie Game The Movie, are you referring to the game Aether?

Cool concept. There's an unusual feeling of freedom mixed with isolation. The game makes you think, and it feels like there's more to it than I can see. It controls fine once you get the hang of it, but I wish Up meant Up. Overall, this was a unique experience.

Norbez responds:

Thanks, dude! Honestly, not sure if I'll be doing anything about the controls, as that was a conscious design choice, but I'm considering it. Glad you like the game! :D

Nice concept, i liked it. Have just to "fix" the astronaut animation on the right directions, then the controls will be more intuitive.

Norbez responds:

Yeah, I'm considering adding a bit more animation; not sure if I will, though. Glad you liked it. :)

Really nice concept I think you could make this into a really good game but the controls are hard as ballz and I kinda like the music but after awhile maybe change it up a bit. Overall I do hope this turns into a really good game!

Norbez responds:

Thanks for the compliment on the concept & music! About the controls, I just updated the description, so check that out. I don't know about multiple tracks; there is one track to emphasize the isolation & theme of the game.
