I think the reason why the artworks look "weird" is the way you paint them: the point is to show the volumes (like cel-shading), not to put some shadows near the edges. Think where is the light and where should be the shadows. Like in the cherry tree, shadows on the paper are both left and right (and none on the tree which make it flat). On akari, the front leg should make a large shadow on the back leg.

this was a project at college. you had to choose what your were making. it can be anything. animation digital art. pretty much anything.
i know some parts are bit weird. and chareter movenmt is not great. but they move.
and is my frist time working with bone tool in flash. so as a artist i am happy to see my animation move. it took ages to find the right song more or less. some day i hope that i could make a real cool song for this. as there is a story for this to also getting the right size for this is a pain in neck

thanks this helps alot. well making everything move would have taken me ages. and this was a project so i was trying to cut corners where i could. and thats why it looks weird. but still better than i frist srarted animation lol

This is pretty good (especially for a college project, but I would suggest a higher frame rate; also, the music cuts off a bit early, and some of the pictures stall a bit too long (maybe it's simply lag on my computer, I dunno).

thanks. well i didnt say that it be perfect. still have a LONG way to go and true that some of them frames are bit to slow or to long. working with timing is not my greateast skill yet
