What a cute game, and really great for your first game with Stencyl! :)

I really loved the idea of lighting up all the colors of the rainbow to unlock the gate. It was a really colorful and visual way of displaying a player's progress. I also thought the creative game over/retry scene was really neat!

I think the game is great with a wider platform field (I played a little earlier and had problems falling out of the clouds!) but I can definitely see why it might not visually be an ideal solution. For future games, you could consider using primarily block shapes (like clouds in the shape of a block) or Stencyl's custom collision shapes, for more precision collisions perhaps?

But overall, love the effort you put in! :)

AnnTenna responds:

Wow! Thanks for the detailed review! I'm glad you liked my idea of the game!

As for forms of platforms, of course, I will not repeat the mistakes again. I wanted to make an unusual and had not thought before, it can be inconvenient to the player.

Thanks again!

Good game, my sisters like her!

AnnTenna responds:

Thank you! Yes, I think this game will be more interesting to girls.)

Good game for a jam. Needs to be polished, though.

AnnTenna responds:

Yes of course) The jam games has a very good, my game is largely inferior to them.

Pretty neat platformer. It has some good visuals, but controls and collisions a little sloppy.

AnnTenna responds:

I apologize for the collision. Thanks for the feedback)

I have two problems with this game, and they're both about the unique platform shapes.

The rounded cloud platforms make it difficult to see where the platform ends and about of either side is actually not there even though it looks like it is; it gets a little frustrating after a while. And the floating island platforms, you can get stuck in between them in places where they are close to each other, trying to get through a place that looks like a gap but actually isn't.

It's very very pretty to look at, but it's just not as practical or smooth as it probably should be. Still cute though!

AnnTenna responds:

Thank you. It's really a problem for me to do to form clouds became a convenient and understandable. I reworked it many times. Now I made a wider field of clouds. Now the game should become easier. But it does not look very nice when the hare is on the edge of the platform.

I removed the problem from getting stuck between the islands on 3 level, sliding the island away from each other. I can not make that area transparent, because there is a different level, which is constructed so that this part of the platform is to block the passage. But now the problem is less noticeable.

Thank you for fidbek!
