Da Funk

Share Collapse

A short film animated, directed, and written by Mike Green.

It is my senior thesis produced at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.

Special Thanks to Megan Stevenson for being a huge part of the creative process.
Another special thanks to FreeSound.org and Soundbible.com for audio samples.

70's...

I feel a lot of inspiration from modern cartoons like gumball or gravity falls at play here, though in a good way.
I can't see too many things wrong here, everything from the art/animation to the VA/writing was great, well done!

i dig dat funk

Heroic, triumphant, and highly entertaining! The character style and animation plus the school setting made me think there was going to be a Pico cameo.

Literally cleaning them streets with the sponge, Bob! ;) It smelled funky at first, but as things progress... I do get into that awesome groove and all that jazz! A fresh ending too. Nice work!
