This game was a project for college, its the first game i have made.. i will be adding further and more difficult chapters and levels

You have been abducted by aliens, and you find yourself on an Alien Spacecraft.... The Mother Ship. It is your challenge to find a way off the ship by completing jump and combat puzzles.

How many times will you die? That is entirely up to you.

Can you stop the aliens from breeding? Crush the eggs to find out!

***Note*** the character double jump can only be used while the character is assending

needs polishing defneataly. biggest need is instructions. could not for the life of me figure out how to stab. still haven't figured out zap.

Yo just received your feedback, in the main menu there is a page that features what the controls are cycle weapons and attack are the controls you are looking for... as for 'zap' you need to find the gun that is hidden in the level. (Y)

This game has promise, but needs a lot more polish. I agree with others that character and level design need work, but the biggest problem is the controls. Landing on eggs is way too difficult and the double jump is buggy (it appears that it only works if you hit the second jump before a certain amount of time). Keep at it!

Thank-you for the feedback, :) much appreciated, the double jump is intentionally meant to be 'while rising' (the character must be raising to be able to double jump) i just had a bit of a play around without this 'while rising' function just now and the character can jump quite further. maybe i can fix the jump and make the gaps larger in an updated version. but the game dose play as intended as for the eggs i have tested the game to death so they are quite easy for me to jump on (you can control the jump path direction in the air) but as someone as yourself playing for the first time i can see how they can be difficult, ill defiantly look into changing the collision field. thank you again for the feedback :)

PS. where there any problems with the gun it seems to be quite buggy and temperamental when i bug test, sometimes it shoots some times it doesn't. and i don't change anything that would effect it

controls are ok, but its nearly impossible to land on the eggs, so i think you need to widen the hitbox.
tbh the character is kind of offputting... you should think about making a new avatar or w/e no offense
the second jump was really frustrating until i realized i can only double jump on the way up, not if im already falling. the wall jump and all of the jumping in general is highly unresponsive and jumps that should have been easy took a dozen tries to complete at times. i appreciate that it takes effort to create a game from scratch, but this definitely needs a little bit more work. i'd like to see a sequel or an updated version in the future

Cheers mate, yeah i am looking at doing 3 more chapters of the game to be increasingly harder. maybe i might update the version to change the double jump or a quick how too dbl jump tutorial to notify the player about the rising to double jump. you can also move the character in the air while your jumping this may make the eggs easier to squish. thanks for your time on the review :)

The idea's pretty good, but the art isn't very appealing (though that might just be a matter of opinion) and the controls weren't very good. The double jumping didn't work a couple of times and everything just felt kind of slippery, also the walking animation was kind of awkward (searching walking animation on google images can give you some good references). For a first game though, this is ok.

thanks for the feedback :) yeah the character seems to be quite mechanical and also ice-skating i agree i might be able to slow him down a-bit to compensate. as for the double jump its intentionally meant to double jump while he is rising from the initial jump.

I like the game. It's fun, the art is funny and original. The problem is that the levels are meh. Also, the double jump is bugged I think (I really hope it's a bug and you didn't intend to make it that way). Anyway, the game is good. I am looking forward to see more games from you :)

hey thank-you for the feedback :) yeah i did intended the jump to be while rising. though i did just play around with the while rising function off, and the character can jump a lot further so i guess ill leave the jump or make the gaps bigger. to maintain the 'skill difficulty' . yeah i am looking forward to creating the next 3 chapters :) and possibly something 3D afterwards, Thank you.
