It took me a while to develope this game, there are a total of 10 levels to beat this game.

How to play: Use the arrows to make your move. Now this time, jump on the blue to get it the next letter. Beat the blue 10 times to finish a level. If you hit the blue, you lose hit points. When your HP reaches empty, it's immediate game over. Press the SPACE key to change your letter. Now remember, there's no G, J, P, Q, and Y for red and blue.

BONUS: 1. There is a continue for you to choose a free level to play. 2. There are MUTE MUSIC, HEALTH RESET and QUIT GAME buttons.

FRAME RATE: 60 fps (does that look smooth to you?!)

This game is playable, but it has a lot of parts that weren't thought out really well. I have scrolled through the other reviews and I have to support some of them. There was no thought given to this game. It has so many bugs and it's overpowered.

First, as LilMissThunderCloud said, the text on the screen moves too fast. By text, I mean the one one Level 1, the tutorial text, not enough time is given for the person to read it. Plus, the game starts immediately giving no time to even at least prepare for the incoming, back-and-forth moving blue letter.

Second, the game is overpowered. The player can just spam-click "HEALTH RESET" to get infinite lives. Also, the Continue button lets you go to any level, including the last one. Completely obliterating the fact that games should be challenging. Unless the game wasn't meant to be challenging, in that case, ignore this reason.

Third, when the game over screen is reached. Replay takes you back to the first level, not back to the level you were playing at, making the replay button the same as the start button, which shouldn't be the case. Replay buttons were made so that players can replay on the level they were on should they fail it or want to try it again. Making that button very misleading.

Fourth, the levels. Each level has the same difficulty. The only thing that changes is the background color. If there was an optional button to change the background color, that would be okay, but using the levels just to change the background color? Levels were made for the fact they were different. Different being either the difficulty, goal, or game mechanics. But this was obviously a copy-paste project.

Fifth, in the beatings left, it should be changed to 11. Because it takes a total of 11 (x26 if you count the entire blue alphabet) in order to win it and get to the next level. I don't know if this is a typo or intentional, but it is vastly misleading.

Sixth, not everyone reads the Author Comments, please have an "Instructions" button or slowed down tutorial text. People usually concentrate on the game, not what the author has to say about it.

Seventh, the game is riddled with bugs, ranging from taking damage even if you hit the top of the blue letter, to the supremely fast respawn drop, to the music being able to be muted but not un-muted, to the improper use of hit-boxes on menu items and on the red and blue letter. It has so many bugs and problems. I'm 100% sure this was made in Flash with little to average experience.

Eighth (this isn't a reason, just something I would like to point out), in your author notes, you said it's at 60fps. Although that makes the game smooth, nobody would really care nor notice. Most people are okay with even 30 or 40.

Overall, the only thing I like about this game is that its theme revolves around letters and there is a chance for you to "Revive" if you click "HEALTH RESET" before the bar empties out completely (probably a bug). Also, pressing the down key mutes the music (probably also a bug).

Other than those in overall, I see nothing else interesting or fun about this game.

DLyonsTheNewground responds:

It's not a bug if clicking HEALTH RESET will reset back to 100%, and it's not a bug if you press the down arrow key, the music mutes.

Sorry you are getting hate on this bro. This game is OK. (This is truthful) It did take me about 5 minutes to get what to do. The moment I got the instructions, it became very clear what to do. It is pretty easy though. The colors you used do clash, and not in a good way. But I just want to support you on this.

DLyonsTheNewground responds:

Thanks so much! :D
Really helps!

this game is bad, like really bad. there were no instructions other than the ones in the description, and those instructions were very unclear. the game is overly difficult, because you cant actually jump OVER the letters, so you have a very limited time to change letters and touch the other letter. also, the game is super buggy. fun fact, this is actually the exact same game as one of your first. oh, and by the way, when you inevitably reply to this, remember, you're submitting a REPLY for this REVIEW. This isn't a place for you to make smug jokes, post stupid nonsense, spam caps lock, or act like a total jerk.

What in God's name do you mean that the instructions aren't clear. If you hit the blue, you lose hit points!! You have to beat blue from A-Z 10 times. GET THAT?
