I like how you shade with that marker. Can you adjust a marker to make certain light and dark?
I wish there was audio instead of squeaky garbled noise.
You can't adjust a marker to make certain lighter or darker.
If you want a lighter surface you will have to choose a marker with a light color. If you want that surface to get darker you can just go over that surface with the same marker a couple of times.. Or you choose to pick a darker color.
I agree that the music ain't the best suited for this clip. But I really suck at voice overs and to be honest I don't dare to do one...
I'm affraid that my english (which is bad in writing only) even worse is in speaking.
What kind of audio would you have prefered?
I don't see manual speedpaint artistry too often! Nice art and showcase of various techniques; equipment. I wonder about that lightbox at the start btw, is that normal requipment for stuff like this? Does it have a name? Keep up the good work!
It is not (asfar I know) normal requipment..
Eventhough I really like it, that way I can get a clean lineart of my sketch.
Soon I'll upload a speedpaint of me drawing the sketch, doing lineart and colours.
Asfar I know it's just called a lightbox/lighttablet. Im not sure though..
This was the first time I used one.
My father inlaw build this one and a new one for me.. the new one is A4 format but it's really huge!!
Thanks for the lovely comment!
