Very simple, smooth controls, easy concept, infinitely addictive game. Good workin, man.

this game glitches out and my ship disappears after about 5 seconds

Potential... Much potential...

The upside:
Appeal - Despite how poorly some things were done here, there's that curiosity of what's next that keeps me from just closing it. Its base has enough to keep players engaged, now just tap some of the things you missed out on, and it'll be great.

The downsides:
Impact - It's lacking everywhere except on the things that hit the player. In a scrolling shooter, be it vertical or side-scrolling, impact is crucial to the player's gratification. As it is now, you can't even tell if you're hitting or just shooting over or under the target until it decides to explode. This needs the polish most.

Clarity - What is happening? Why are there big, weird things shooting back? What's the dust cloud they drop as they die? The lack of information severely inhibits how much a player can get out of this game, and it can be easily clarified with a text tutorial explaining all this.

Presentation - Having your score over the center of the screen, and the action, is just irritating. A better place would be at the bottom edge, under the multiplier, even though I have no idea what it does.

Lots of room to grow, and lots of space it needs to fill before it really starts to shine. Keep at it, you can do it.

Great game, but needs a tutorial. I know the basic stuff, but I didn't know about the white things the bosses drop when you defeat them... Still a great game, I'm sure this won't get blam'd.

I know that this is only an edit, but even now it still needs work. This game is a good representation of several classic games that similar to Galaga and Asteroids. A description on how to beat the game or at least how to progress would be nice. Also, my ship vanished from the screen during the first boss level several times. It can use some work, and the graphics could be better. If you work on that, this could be a fun and interesting "Space Shooter". Good Luck!
