This was a slightly odd, yet interesting homage to one of my favorite 70's anime, one I find not allot of people know about/if the do then only the remake.
All in all, this made me happy, keep up the good work.
Earth is being decimated by radioactive planet bombs sent by the evil Gamilons. Earth's only chance for survival is the resurrected Yamato. The bold ship and crew lift off to face their destiny.

Thanks! Star Blazers was a huge part of my youth as well. I enjoyed 2199, the remake, and the live action as well.
Reminds me of the animations of old.
Like Telebubby Fun Land or Club a Seal, where there were lots of pictures manipulated and incorporated to the animation.
Sorta like Terry Gilliam's old stuff.
This is a better anime tribute than the same usual carbon copies.
I've often seen anime flash movies attempt to imitate the aesthetics of the original series.
Imitation often sacrifices originality and utilizing an entirely unique style creates a more stand out movie.
I wish more anime tributes experiment with different art mediums, art styles, ect.
I wish more movies would just experiment with different art mediums, art styles, ect.
This was a neat little short.
