Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of February we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 215 people to reach our goal of 3,100 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in March!

It was decent, but i don't understand how to choose what you do. Here is why i like it: For one i love pixelated art style and i like the arcade feel, But the reason it did not get four stars is, Just like i said earlier i don't know how to do things. For me this is a button mashing frenzy. But you could add a tutorial or some sort of combo mechanic?

12BitGaming responds:

Thanks for your response!
I didn't think a little game like this with very limited mechanic would need a tutorial, but here we go!
The randomness of what the character does is a part of the mechanic. Every other time you push your button he jumps, every other time he shoots a shot which is randomized. Sometimes it turns out to be the shot you need and sometimes it will just bounce back and give you damage!
The character will always jump forward (random length), unless he is too close to the opponent - in that case he will jump backwards. This is to make sure that the characters are separated enough to give you a chance to respond to the opponents shots.
It's a simple game and of course you can just mash your button to gain success, but where's the fun in that?! It's better to try to avoid incoming danger and deal as much damage as possible.
I must admit that the game is best played as a 2 player game, but works fine as a 1 player game as well.
Thanks for trying it out!

that's an original concept great job :)
