i think it's too easy when combining a frozen turret and a catapult. i just put 1 frozen 2 catapults 2 lasers and then ultra turrets and win.
How in the world is this game even slightly possible? The previous game was very doable, and yet strangely huge amounts more people have the medals in this game than in that one. I can't even get past a few rounds in this one, no matter what the map or the strategy.
Also most of the people with all the medals in this game aren't particularly good at games, which leads me to believe either they played an earlier, much easier version of the game, that they found some glitch in the game to win (I do see mention of a fixed 6000 credits glitch in the comments so maybe that's it), that they cheated, or that this thing somehow performs vastly differently on different computers and maybe is only possible to win in certain OS/browser combinations.
It also seems fairly arbitrary where you can or cannot put a turret as sometimes it won't let you but within a pixel or two of that spot is okay, etc...
Also doesn't help that all your turrets have the exact worst strategy possible -- keep attacking whatever you were attacking (and failing to kill) and thus always continue to fail by attacking exclusively the tail-end rather than doing it smartly by focusing more on the front-end.
Hell it would be better if these turrets didn't turn at all and you just positioned them permanently at the start and whatever direction you initially put them in they're stuck that way.
A pretty fun TD game, simple, but just challenging enough to keep you playing. Using the freeze/rock combo until you can get the super turret quickly became my tactic in all levels, with some added lightning where the money didn't stream in quick enough. It seems the formula for a high score, is to use as little turrets/little money as possible to finish a level? And I guess health plays a role as well? Would be interesting to know the formula used for calculating that final number. Overall, a smooth; entertaining game.
The game was good! Could use some more difficult settings though...
Realistically most of the towers are useless. Health and Credit generators are a waste since there is only 10 wave and you can't put either out until about round 5 thus making them a waste of money. The Catapult turret is only worth a damn when paired with the Freeze turret effectively doubling its cost and the flame turret can't hit anything long enough to make its damage output worth the cost. Essentially you use the Laser turrets until you can afford the Lightning then Ultra turrets until you win. Grinded out every level and achievement in 15 mins, while I was sleeping. Lack of additional controls such as turret upgrades, special abilities, or even a speed control that 99.8% of TD games have was a disappointment. Good music though, even if a little repetitive.
