There is a Who wants to be a Millionaire vibe here. If you know enough about sports than this will be a very simple game for you to complete. There should be checkpoints. Starting over every time you get one question wrong is frustrating.

I really don't know enough about sports it seems... but this was a well-made quiz! Good game.

Fun quiz game! I'd make the text shorter and smaller so it takes less time to read it. Half of my time spent was trying to read the entire screen :P Since the player already knows they are guessing sports, you can eliminate "...is a sport in which" that takes off almost a second of reading. Also use digits, not spelled numbers, "11" is far easier/faster than "eleven". Make a countdown timer such as "10, 9, 8" instead of the weird single line spinning. I wasn't sure it was a clock until I just thought about it. So either a real clock or countdown timer would be aesthetically pleasing. Make the buttons "cuter" or more "fun" to press as well. 3/5 stars, lots of things to tweak. Good game and idea.

I know you compared this to "Who wants to be a Milionaire," but it's still annoying having to start all over just because you missed one question. Also, what is that red timer doing in the background? It's hard to tell that's a timer at first.
