I actually really liked this. The music was calming, yet fitting, the gameplay was just good enough to warrant replaying, and the graphics were simple, but great. Good job. The only thing I would improve on is maybe adding an animation when you get hit by an asteroid.

Please note this is only a "beta" staged game, made for my Game Art portfolio and it's not meant to be a proper publishable game, however it might be still fun to play for a few minits. :)

MOVE UP - UP ARROW KEY
MOVE DOWN - DOWN ARROW KEY
This is a little flash game I created. Every content and logic in the game was created by me except the music and the sound effects.
In this game you have to dodge asteroids and UFOs with your space ship. Pick up crates to get bonus points!
If you hit an asteroid or UFO or UFO missile the game is over!
Careful, as you progress the game gets harder!
You can only move vertically with the Up and Down arrow keys.

It's a pretty basic game, but I think it's better than similar concepts because of the more dynamic background, and the diversity of projectiles approaching you.
