As a hardcore fan of Yenny and her web comic series, I can say I'm very pleased with how this demo has come out. Though very simple, this embraces the "vision" that I believe Yenny's creator has in terms of having his characters to be as fluid and expressive as possible, from the bright colors to the cartoonish body movements. These few animated seconds have it all!
Very nicely done, my friend. I'm super glad Dave Alvarez chose you to do this!
Okay, that was fun, even only about ten seconds... You've got the technique and skills down, so how about something a little... more?
Do you have a direction, an idea? I think you could take this far if you just assert yourself a little bit.
Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate that you want to see more. However, this was merely a test to share with Mr. Dave Alvarez, the creator of the characters you see here. He wanted to see a sample of my skills. I kind of expected this to get blammed, but I took a chance anyway.
Seems promising enough!
Don't know anything about the web comics,
but actually not bad, fairly fluid and well done animation, good job. :)
Thank you very much! The webcomic is done by Dave Alvarez. He has a very unique, fun style that i tried to emulate here. This was a test I made for him to show him my skills as an animator. All the characters shown are his.
