First of all, nice game! I made a playthrough of it, in case you were interested: <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0I8fHckVNw>
The art style was the first thing that caught my attention. I really liked it. It instantly made the game look fun, and it was! I liked the whole bridge thing, rising up the next section. It was a unique way of loading up the next section. It kind of reminded me of Bomberman 64, if you ever played that one :P
The music....At first, I liked it. It helped establish the quirky sense of humor of the game. It sets the tone and mood of the playthrough, and it was effective. The only problem...it is psychotically repetitive. I'm not sure my brain can take that for long periods of time. It would have been nice to have a little bit of variety. Maybe when in combat or something. Or just the final boss. The last boss really felt anticlimactic, and I think that was largely because of the same music. There was nothing that built up any tension. Just my thoughts on the subject. Of course, I was a music major in college, so I'm bound to be more picky than the average player, so take that as you will.
The enemies were hilarious. I had a lot of fun with them. Actually, this whole game was incredibly bizarre. I really liked how quirky it was. I think a little more variety with the enemies would have helped keep it fresh, but I thought it was good.
It would have been nice if there was an actual ending. The last boss was already a little anticlimactic, so combine that with no ending and the player feels a little dissatisfied at the end of the game. I still enjoyed it, of course, but I would have liked to see a real ending. Just to feel like I actually completed it :P
Again, nice game! I really enjoyed it. Thank you for all your work, and I look forward to seeing anything else you might create! :)
