Beethro has managed to clear the dreaded living tar and truncate those serpents but in this job one should never feel too good about oneself...

----

Beethro Budkin, fifth-generation professional dungeon exterminator, was hired by King Dugan to clear the king's multi-level dungeon of a large monster infestation. Beethro charges by the room, and as a professional, he is contract-bound to clear all the monsters from each and every room in the dungeon to get paid. The only weapon Beethro needs to do his job is a Really Big Sword(tm), which will defeat almost any monster in a single hit.

Your objective is to clear each level of King Dugan's Dungeon of monsters. This feat can be accomplished using only your Really Big Sword(tm) and your wits. Each room is a separate area that has to be cleared in a single session. Should you leave a room without completely clearing it, it will be restored to its initial state when you return.

Those brave enough can compete for the best score (least number of moves) in each room against other players. If you create an account on our forums and provide the CaravelNet details in the options menu (these can be retrieved on your forum profile), your scores will be submitted to the leaderboards. These will last for two weeks, unless you purchase a CaravelNet subscription, in which case your scores will be kept forever. If you do not type in the details, you will be only notified what place your score would've attained.

I'm in love with this series of games. It's been an unforgettable journey and I might try other games from this franchise. Super addictive.

I did it. I mastered the hold and post-mastered it.

I would never ever predict that I would have all of the medals from this series, only month ago it felt like one of these "maybe I'll try it later". What a torturous journey it was. My god. I am an addict

If you read this, please give it a chance. I have medals from literally every game there is, and this is the game I've liked the most. There will never be a better game than this one.

What's with the yellow doors you can't get through on the tenth level?

It would be possible—indeed, not even difficult!—to catalog which bells activate which doors in order to beat several of the levels on the first floor. The question remains: why would one WANT to?
I have no patience for puzzles that obscure their solutions with cumbersome notation and tedious information sorting instead of (or in this case, in addition to, but that's beside the point) cleverness or complexity. It really is a shame that that's the first floor; I enjoyed the previous installments.
