Dino Dash is a simple infinite runner game. You play as a dinosaur attempting to escape extinction by meteor shower! Luckily, you have a shield to protect yourself from the storm of meteors. However, use it wisely as you have a limited amount of shield. Don't worry too much, as the shield regenerates over time. Good luck!
CONTROLS
Spacebar - jump
Spacebar - double jump (while in air)
Z - activate shield
ABOUT
An awesome coworker and I decided to give ourselves a timeline of one week to make a game. This was the result. I used Construct2, and he helped me with the gameplay and art. We had a lot of fun, and we're looking to continue this every week. Regardless of how the game turned out or what comments we get, we're happy to have completed our vision for this simple game and we hope to take our learning experiences on to the next project. Un jeu qui a de bonnes idées (le shield est vraiment bien), cependant la routine installée par le jeu le rend plutôt ennuyeux... Il faudrait sans doute modifier les plateformes et varier le niveau d'avantage.

Thanks for taking the time to make a video review about our game! Watching you play it made me discover some issues with the game(double jump is not explained, the hitbox/collision bug with the meteor and character). And I agree, there is a lack of variety in the ground - it's flat for the whole game and never changes. At one point it had varying height, but I felt it was too difficult. We're not going to change the game I think, as we're making a new game this week. Thanks again for playing and reviewing, happy gaming!
Not so bad, but it can be better. The controls are a bit annoying.

Thanks for your review. I was thinking about changing the shield to the Left Mouse Button, but I'm trying to just leave this game in the state its in and take all of the suggestions+reviews+etc and throw those considerations into our future games. Happy gaming!
Strangely addictive. Simple yet still a bit difficult. I get the feeling that my Dino will never survive the final meteor, because history.
For a game made in 1 week by 1 programmer + 1 artist as a hobby, this deserves at least 4 stars. Sure it could be tweaked here and there, but it's a very promising start!
