I inspired from the idea of one screen game concept in Ludum Dare. It is one of the prototypes I made for my platformer game. It was fun to play even it is short so I decided to upload it.
The idea is when player finishes the level boss battle will be collecting certain objects in animated environment.
Use arrow keys to move and sapace to jump. Game art from opengameart.org.
Could do without having to wait for the next cross to appear. Movement was sticky and not very smooth. For a prototype it's a good start, but it definitely needs some work.
Even the graphics are different in the project. This is one of the prototypes I prepared, I had fun playing it so decided to add it.
For the wait part, this pauses are for boss movement. And movement part yes I agree with you and thank you, the feeling is not right when you play it.
Seems like nice concept. but some interactive tutorial will be great and some back story?
