BEWARE: sound is LOUD.
For a project in my Time-Based Media course we were required to choose a complex word and animate its meaning in a coherent way. I chose the word "amelioration" which means (in the context of a word) something loses negative connotations and gains positive ones over time. For example, "terrific" is a stem of "terrify." Back in Shakespeare's day it would mean something was scary. However, today the word means something is great.
Dude that is loud, I had to turn my sound down. Interesting about how terrific used to mean something scary. Would have been better if you put in kitties though :(
