For the Homeland is a videogame in which you take control of a dictatorship of both left and right wings.

Your main mission is to resist the rage of the social classes and to improve your army to conquer all the neighbouring countries.

In order to accomplish this mission, you'll have to, among other things, decide upon the lives of your prisoner citizens, make deals with other countries, and elaborate complex strategies...

Your country is waiting for you!

I played this game for about 2 hours. Restarted about 40 times. Let's say this game is too hard for me.
And I play most Strategy Games on the difficulty known as Expert Difficulty. The only reason for me not being able to beat this lousy game, is there is no clear cut this does this or this does that in the game. The Business Men do say affects Rich people or Poor People, but not really. You had 3 days on you to make a game, sure that's not much time. But it seems that 99% of that time was spent on the animation for the bird general to wake up. The game is bad, sure I like the idea of it, but it's just bad.

But I liked the concept, I liked the mechanics(except for the trade as somehow the others always wanted to give negative amounts for ridiculously high amounts from me.) the graphics looked good and I had an overall positive experience of the game. I give it 1/10 for the trade. 2/10 For the military, 3/10 for the Mickey Mouse Stalin smoking his cigar. 4/10 for the concept and 10/10 for the waking up animation for the useless bird. Overall score turns out to be 4/10 aka 2 stars. I would actually want to see a sequel with a bit more to do in it(and a working trade system).

LD really brings forth some of the most unique game concepts ever! Love the pixel graphics, the entertaining details like those Mickey Mouse ears and how the one guy's a vulture. Each push of the red button brings forth a new victim too, all potentially sentenced to Death in different ways. It's a simple yet complex SIM of tyrannical rule, with mostly intuitive gameplay but also a bit mysterious in what it's you're actually supposed to achieve, or how to best do so, but I guess part of the thrill is figuring that out yourself. Nice game!

Amazing game. I did encounter a glitch with the phone deals where it bugged and left the accept, decline, and report options up...and this stopped all calls and anyone wishing and audience with a deal made them only say the phone deal, and I never knew what they were properly offering. Other than that. FANTASTIC. Great Art, Animation, and Resource Management. Expand it a bit and take away some of the on the nose references with the characters and you could easily flip this as a kickstarter title

I thought it was really fun, but the sound needed a little more work. Still fun, but it could have also been explained better. I do look forward to any future works though.

i REALLY enjoyed this but i did encounter a glitch first time i had to say that a glitch is a good sign you put effort into this but any way i would have to say this is probably one of the most expertly made games i have seen and it is enjoyable in a kind of papers please kind of way
