Legends tell of the savior of our kind, the Horseless Headless Horsebot known by the name Ichabot Crane. Upon being separated from its mount by a powerful adversary, Ichabot was imprisoned within a dark dungeon. All hope seemed lost for Ichabot until one day, when a portal appeared within the cell. A voice from beyond came from the portal, offering Ichabot a chance at escaping its fate if Ichabot could, in turn, prove its worth to this mysterious benefactor. So begins the tale of Ichabot's escape from the evil space dungeon to freedom.

Ichobot Crane is an open-source, Global Game Jam 2014 (#ggj14) entry from American University at Washington, D.C., made by a team of 5. It's a first-person puzzle game like Portal that involves using your throwing it.

Ichobot Crane controls like a typical first-person shooter:
•WASD or arrow keys to move
•Move the mouse to look around
•Space to jump
•Click the left-mouse button to throw Ichabot's head

After Ichabot's head is thrown, the controls changes a bit
•Move the mouse to look around (useful for finding where Ichabot's body is)
•WASD or arrow keys to move Ichabot's body
•Space to make Ichabot's body to jump
•Click the left-mouse button to hop in the direction the head is looking at
•Click the left-mouse button when Ichabot's body is near the head to pick the head back onto the body

Well, it is an interesting game.
You complete 3-dimensional puzzles inter alia by throwing your head angainst big question marks on walls and then walking through a portal at the end in the level. Later, more and more obstacles come in addition.
Now, the gameplay is new and fresh - it is something I have never seen before and it is well-implemented. I liked it and had a lot of fun with it.
But the textures are.. "lazy". They look - please don't take too negative - ugly. Especially the ceilings and the whole floor don't even have a decent texture.
But and it is a big but this game is technically really good. The mouse sensitivity is good and not that much vague. The leveldesign is also (not graphically ofc) neat.
This game is fun. Really much fun. And it is not that I mind so much about graphics but some polishes were appropriate.
Besides graphics (textures) this game is really well-done!

Neat platformer. I have one complain though - sometimes the walls don't join, especially in 11, there are ugly gaps you can't move through, I don't think it's on purpose, so watch out for those gaps

hmmmm .... doesn't work for me. The view always turns to the ceiling and then slowly spins clockwise. if i work hard with the mouse i can manage to turn the view to the floor, but as i stop it turn up again. What a pit cause i really would like to play your game ...
