Short, simple and efficient, and even with the snowflakes but flakes of paper it really gets the holiday spirit across. The subtle motions of all individual flakes is probably the most impressive part, the character doesn't do much, but does appear with appreciation and presence, an element of life in what would probably otherwise be a somewhat somber paper landscape. Nice work!

this was an excellent idea Heidi, the mix of real and 3d/2d elements or characters is a style I always appreciate seeing. I would just like to suggest adjusting the final text in the story. Since its a white shape, it becomes lost in the lightness of the background, a blurred low opacity color, even black behind the text would help it from being lost. Cheers!

I liked it, Heidi. It raised a smile and reminded me of something that I observed long ago.
This has interesting artwork and animation that has perspective. The 'story' is short, but sometimes, fleeting moments make lasting impressions and memories.
