Welcome to Firefighter! A game where you run, jump and shoot your way around deadly fires!
Features:
- 20 normal levels
- 16 unlockable challenge levels
- 100+ badges to collect
- 4 different equipment load-outs that make the game more difficult and replayable
As mentioned in the features there will be different load-outs that unlock as you progress through the game. Not only do these load-outs make the game more difficult, they change the way you approach each level. If you are capable enough some levels can be played in 4 separate ways.
This game has been many years in the making and got a little out of control due to my ambitions of making exactly the game I wanted to play. It is also the game where I learned to program and make games in general. I hope you enjoy playing it and remember that if a certain badge seems to hard to get you can always move on to the next level and come back to it later.

Great, challenging game, however when I try and select one of the bonus levels it takes me back to Lvl 20 - please can this be changed!
Unfortunately not as fun as it could be because the controls are, well, pretty bad.
Look up key ghosting because you have chosen a control scheme which will "ghost" for nearly everyone except those with expensive keyboards. You should never ever make it so you need to press two arrow keys and any other key at the same time -- this will nearly always result in one of the keys not registering (it's a keyboard hardware thing). Unfortunately this is pretty much the control scheme for the entire game, combined with having to release a key to fire, rather than the far more sensible press key = fire.
What would have been far better:
WASD to move, up/down/left/right to fire in the appropriate direction, and auto-charge while you're not auto-firing. X and C unused.
Maybe not perfect and might still key ghost for some, but certainly would be a lot better than the current controls.
Nice game. The level 25 is way too hard to save the cat,I have tried over 10 minutes and then give up.
Level 25 probably has the most difficult test of the charged jump in the game.
On the way down:
Jump over the set of three fires.
Jump over the set of two fires.
Jump over the lone fire.
On the way back up:
To get over the lone fire stand against the right wall, hold down and do a charged jump to the left when the lone fire is on the ground.
To get over the set of two fires stand against the left wall, hold down and do a charged jump while the two fires are on the ground, but don't press right until you are sure you won't run into the first fire.
For the set of three fires on the way back up you must charged jump but go under the fires while they are in the air. Again, stand against the right wall. Press down and left. Charge your shot. Release your shot in anticipation of the first fire jumping into the air so you smoothly sail underneath them to the hydrant.
Now that is easier said than done and it took quite a few words to say how to do it! Thank you so much for playing so far. You are definitely one of the first 10 to ever even play that level.
Nice game. Though pretty tough if you consider the controls. Double jumping seems interesting, yet so hardcore with these (updated!) controls, I just gave up after 10 minutes repeating. You shouldn't make it a secret to use, but explain how to.
Medals don't work (as of yet).
