Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 197 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

Rejoin Harris while he leaves his past life behind to become an outlaw. Will he become a blood-thirsty monster or will he still be a good man? What mysteries will he uncover?
Note: music is disabled due to a bug. If I manage to fix it, I will enable it again.
If you have a white screen, wait a little while. It means the game is loading. Usually, it happens instantly, but if you have a slow computer and/or many tabs open it will go slowly.
Another note: the newgrounds API messes with title page buttons. If they stop working, refresh the page.
Update changes:
Ultimate coins no longer get interest from the bank.
Balanced the costs of bulk-buy for 10x and 100x tavern and shop upgrades. Now it's what you'd have to pay for each -10 and -50 per level in the bulk.
Removed the fixed cap and changed the way conversion is made so it doesn't lag at all (cannot confirm this with over 10k exp). It will slowly convert the excess till the conversion rate equals the income rate.
Special thanks to wct for the formula!

in the help tab it states that you can deposit and withdraw money in the bank but when I go to the bank there are no buttons for it. don't know if im missing it or if its somewhere else or maybe im just finally going crazy

CristianNic responds:

Have you actually made the bank? At first, it's just the trading system. If you want the deposit function, you have to upgrade it once. After, each new upgrade increases its rates.

The Good: I really like the game concept. Having storyline is something that I think a lot of games lack, and the idea that you have to do some dirty work to continue the storyline is a superb stroke.

The Bad: The game isn't particularly "player-friendly". A lot of little details are either unexplained or under-explained. Bits like the pasture upgrade reading "Max" in the horses information screen led me to believe that stealing cattle achieved no real gain... until I clicked on the pasture upgrade, just to see what function that button served.

The Ugly: While graphics aren't the greatest, they're adequate. I understand graphics aren't your forte', so I'd urge you to find an artist to team up with. The story is well-thought-out, but the text itself could use some care from an editor. I, myself, would be happy to do this for you.

All-in-all, I think this game would be quite good, if only it were polished a bit more. The little, nagging details are what brings it down, in my opinion. I've tried to keep things short, but if you'd like a laundry-list of the little, nagging details, please message me.

CristianNic responds:

Thank you for the feedback!
There's not much I can do to make it more player friendly without deleting everyone's save files and in this kind of game, that might make it annoying for many people. I will resolve this issue in the next game.
I had a typo on the pasture text update when I made the last update. Will be fixed in about 5 minutes.
I tried teaming up with an artist, but he left me in the dust with no images and without telling me anything about not wanting to be a team or something like that.
If you have the time to help out with the text, I would be really grateful.
Also, if you've got more suggestions, I'm all ears. I'm really looking forward to improve this game or make sure I don't repeat the mistakes in the next one.

Hate to write my one review without completing the game but I found a serious bug. when you buy 10 or 100 income upgrades, say dice games in the saloon, at lvl 1 it costs 1200 x100 and skips the actual upgrade costs of 2-99. takes awhile to get the tavern or saloon but when i built the saloon and tried the 100 button i got this bug, now i have almost 400k income from my first saloon upgrades instead of like.. 400 or something?

game seems fun i'll probably give it a few overnights before i get bored ;P
boo to graphics haters this game has more to it than half the games on the idle tab.

CristianNic responds:

Thank you very much for the review! I set it to cost 100 times the regular cost on purpose so there's a bonus to buying more at once. On the other hand, the price for the next upgrade is exactly as it should be based on the formula as if you bought one at a time 100 times.
Do you think I should remove this bonus or leave it as it is? Or maybe add an extra cost to it?

Nice concept, but gosh the overall needs some improvement its all so clumsy and ugly =/

Have you thought about using 8-bit graphics perhaps? A nice 'retro' style wouldn't go bad with this game!

CristianNic responds:

Thank you for the suggestions! Graphics are not my strong point, unfortunately, but I will try to improve them.
