Play as a disembodied eyeball, called Terrance, who is forced by fate to complete a set of dangerous challenges involving bouncing off surfaces, breaking glass tubes, and dodging plasma projectiles, in order to feel content and satisfied with life.

Arrow Keys / WASD to move Terrance
Spacebar / Enter to select Menu Choice
P to Pause Game

Complete all zones in ‘Terrific Time’ to unlock a special feature. I doubt that you’ll see this ‘coming’.

The game is essentially an exercise in conveying mechanics through level design and use of colour, without any explicit instructions or inadvertent insulting of the player's intelligence.

Music composed by Jack Morgan

Stoned eyeballed sperm

If Terrence is a sperm, he's most certainly inside some sort of computerized android womb... and now we have story possibilities!

Very slick-looking game. Awesome sound effects. The gameplay is pretty engrossing, but what makes this work is the fact that Terrence doesn't slide all over the place --I call it the "Ice Effect." This is something that a lot of platform and avoidance developers seem to have a problem with. The tight controls and controlled movement keep the game challenging but never frustrating. That's a victory for you.

The music is quite good. But be honest: Zone 2... that's some old Mega Man track that Capcom never released, right? :)

*insert her obvious Sperm Joke*

AidenBainsGames responds:

It pleases me to know that all players of my game are united is feeling that Terrance quite strongly resembles a sperm. All my playtesters said the same, and it was even the comment that my own mother gave me, after she asked me what I'd been working on for months :)

Very clever how varied the level design can get and the range of mechanics the game teaches without ever explicitly telling the player a thing! Very well designed - I just wish it was longer than 30 mins!
The music is also incredible.

AidenBainsGames responds:

Thanks for the kind words - I'm glad to hear that I was successful in teaching the mechanics implicitly. I would have loved to have added more content, but I decided to put a far higher priority on ensuring that the game had no filler.
And I can't agree more with your last statement - my friend Jack did a brilliant job with the music!

I like the controls, it's simple and the slide toughens it quite a bit. I don't have music on, so no clue what it sounds like (not a big fan of music, lest the game calls for it.

The game is very repetitive and is in need of some for of entertainment, the simplest form being some form of reward system that effects the game. (i suggest that if possible things like, small character, but extra speed. Something that will balance it out and not make you too OP)

The difficulty raises nicely, though I believe the turrets shoot too quickly, but even that is enjoyable. I would prefer that you just respawn and blink over the full screen color out.

Overall, not a bad game, great difficulty rise and nice controls, But I really would try to think of things that can be implemented to make it worth playing and less repetitive.
