Eye For An Eye HD

Share Collapse

It's the year 1983. The future seems grim because the United States of America and the Soviet Union are at war. This movie is based on true events. Look up "Stanislav Petrov" on Wikipedia.
This movie deals with the subjects of loneliness, isolation, boredom of a repetitive job and the fact that we aren’t too different after all. I've made this film a few years ago (with very little time) but decided to upload it now because of current events. This movie features NO DIALOG/Audio so that it can be understood by anyone everywhere- it's VERY open to interpretations though. I use a lot of symbolism in it (ie red walls, green meadows, clouds moving a certain direction...). How much can you spot?
Enjoy

I am heared that story long before. That was enough close to "make Fallout" IRL. Yes, that's was close to destroy future.
Also, i can't understand why all foreigners think that all nukes is concentrated in Moskow?

"an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind"

I already knew about that man he saved the world's ass by miracle :), but I didn't understand why the earth blew up at the end...

MarkP0rter responds:

There are plenty of reasons why the earth "blew up" at the end. Think of a reason you might like. Here are some suggestions: 1) It was to demonstrate what would have happened. To make it more dramatic, alarming and warning (it's just a movie) 2) The earth never blew up. Not even in the movie. He is looking up to the sky in the end and maybe he imagines what could have happened 3) He didn't press the button but he is just a little wheel / cog of a big machine / part of a big machine so even though he did not PRESS the button there are others who will replace him - others who will press the button like the guy you saw running down the hall way when our main character just walked away because he refused to press the button. He refused it but what about others- would they refuse to press the button, too?

I hope this clears it up a bit
