9/27/02 Sorry for the size again.. I don't know how to reduce it anymore. If anyone knows how, please give me some suggestions :)
Note: This is just a demo. The full version doesn't have that thunder shit. I just put it for fun.
9/29/02 Tip: To master the combos, you don't have to tab the button "z" or "x". Say, if you want to do x + z + x + z, you press x first, and then while you are performing the x slash, you can hold "z"(release "x") to get the next move. Then, while you are performing the "z" slash, you can hold "x"(release "z") to get the next move, and so on. #^_^#
9/30/02 Tip2: Run a lot! Use "s" button to run. The character is kinda slow. I intended to make it that way. When you become berserk, you will move faster.

In all seriousness, the combat is fairly ahead of it's time for 2002. Unfortunately, it runs at a very low FPS. I feel like back in the day it didn't matter much and probably could have been attributed to computer processing power. Nowadays though, despite the fact that I'm playing on a laptop without much of a graphics card, I KNOW its not my computer.
Still, what's here is impressive for the time. Looking forward to seeing how this game evolves from the demo to stage 1.
Graphics have that Japanese feel and helps you to do your Samurai job. Controls only took me a few seconds to master. Difficulty becomes easier once you put the time in to learn your skills. However, this is just a demo, so it loses points.
Quick, fun, smart controls, great music, good enemies. Great Work!

Awesome. I figured out some combos by accident. I thoguht you said tere was no more lightning, but the boss used lightning on me. Also, you should have made more specials cause most of the time I just used the one to heal me. Rarely was I able to get the flash special out. Overall, nice game. I liked it. Please make the full version.
