Here's an upcoming battle in my Dawn of True Power series. At some stage, the audio might sound bad but I promise you,I will fix it when the full version is done.

Okay, so overall it was a decent animation. Though, you shouldn't really be posting previews here, those should go on Youtube or Deviant Art.

Now about the actual animation itself. I've seen my fair share of Sonic/Mario sprite series/animations and this one does little to deter from the norm. The combat was bland and wasn't all that interesting, reading text has become too tedious in this age and so if you plan on doing series, do everyone a favor and get voice actors. The sound effects were the typical DBZ sound package I hear very often so I wasn't impressed in that department either.

I can easily tell that you have been inspired by SMBZ and wish to make a series that will rival it's fame. Let me give you some word of advice, try using sprites of a different genre that aren't Sonic or Mario. You'll be tempted to imitate Alvin Earthworm's style if you keep on the path you're going.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick or put you down, I want you to just become the best animator you can by learning your own style and breaking away from the typical sprite animations.

Hope this helped.

good spritework, nice fast animation, and quite an interesting story, only that i would like more new characters (like aeon) and more different situations (instead of the usual sonic VS eggman, and mario VS bowser stuff)..other than that, its good. very good.

keep it up!

It was a very good Flash, reminds me a lot of Super Mario Bros. Z, the only thing is that you don't give anyone any indication to press spacebar to move along to the next text bar, granted all it takes is pressing it to find out, but some people might not even go that far and will just give up on it right away. Aside from that I would love to see you go into this more and hope to see more submissions from you in the future.

Nice preview! Keep up the great work! :)

Would have been great if it were finished. Still worth a save based on the animation and interface.... BTW, spacebar continues the film since you didn't add that to the description if anyone is confused.
